I admit: I grew up flipping through bridal magazines that my mother, a seamstress, would bring home. My sister, Sarah, and I would ask each other, “Which dress is the prettiest on these two pages?” We’d deliberate and make our choice. Then we’d flip the page and ask again. That is where my love of veils began.

The veil is like the icing on the bridal cake. It can add radiance, stateliness, and beauty to every bride.

But since it is the icing on the cake, I want the veil to be stunning, whether modest or ornate.

All of the tulle and most of the lace is imported from Europe. The silk tulle is created on centuries old leavers looms. My lace and tulle sources often sell the same products to big name designers.

I incorporate gorgeous lace, such as that from French designer Sophie Hallette, in many of the veils.
